In 2018, STG Pacific performed the third largest mass concrete placement conducted in Alaska and the largest placement by a single supply source batched onsite in a remote and logistically complex location. The concrete pour was part of the construction of a Long Range Discrimination Radar Equipment Shelter (LES) foundation at Clear Air Force Station, Alaska. The LES foundation provides infrastructure for missile defense and our nation’s defensive capabilities against ballistic missiles. The crew worked vigorously to complete this time critical project.
